Steady Steps Group

Steady Steps Group

Help your child feel seen, heard, and supported.

Steady Steps is a 6-week therapeutic group designed to support children as they navigate the emotional challenges of divorce or separation. Through creative activities, peer connection, and guided discussion, children learn healthy ways to express feelings, strengthen resilience, and better understand their changing families.

Led by a provisional psychologist under the supervision of a registered psychologist, this evidence-informed program helps kids build coping skills and realize they’re not alone.

Direct billing is available under psychological services for most major insurance providers. Please check with your benefits plan to confirm coverage. Receipts will also be provided for any uncovered portion.

Our goal is to provide children with a safe, supportive space to process the changes that come with parental separation or divorce. Through guided activities, open conversations, and peer connection, we help kids build emotional resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and feel less alone in what they’re going through. We aim to support not just their adjustment in the moment — but their long-term confidence, relationships, and well-being.
