Interventions

We genuinely care about your child and invest our expertise and caring into helping your family succeed.

As children learn and grow, there may be times when they experience challenges.

At Calgary Psychological Services, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of the challenges they may face. We understand that growing up can be tough, and sometimes children need extra support to navigate through life’s hurdles. Our dedicated team is here to provide a safe and nurturing environment where kids can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build resilience. Whether they’re struggling with anxiety, coping with family changes, or facing academic pressures, our tailored counseling programs are designed to empower children to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Through compassionate guidance and evidence-based techniques, we aim to foster confidence, emotional well-being, and a positive outlook on life. At Calgary Psychological Services, we’re committed to helping children flourish today and into the future.

As a parent, we all want to guide our kids through life and see them be successful. Sometimes though, the road ahead isn’t always clear. It can be hard to know when to get the help of a professional and who to turn to. There may be times when you ask yourself if their behaviour is typical for their age and other times when their behaviour is clearly problematic, for them or for your family.

Whether your child is showing signs of anxiety, depression, aggression,  or attention concerns, it’s always a good idea to investigate further. We can help you learn what’s driving your child’s behaviour. We work with your child to develop their toolbox so they have positive strategies to overcome adversity. We also ensure you have a thorough understanding of what’s happening for your child and the best way to support them.
